AI Learns. Our children grow with it. More knowledge, creativity. But will they think for themselves?

For those opposing DOGE’s efficiency measures, consider this: Without reforms, maintaining current government spending levels would require increasing taxes by approximately 1.75x for the middle class and 2.25x for the upper class to offset inefficiencies and waste. @elonmusk have you run this poll yet? Maybe I'm wrong and half the country is willing to foot the bill.

@GerberKawasaki If you’re buying into a single city example as evidence, your grasp of scaling is as outdated as dial-up. Tesla: mass data, rapid scaling; Waymo: curated, more tech, slower scaling.

@sama Progress is heating up. Perf ∝ log(res), Costs ↓ ~10×/yr., Linear IQ → exponential benefits, AI agents reshape work, Universal AI empowers all, Rapid AGI risks misuse; need policy, AGI extends progress; scale demands new norms.

@elonmusk DOD’s annual financial audit (2023) cost $187 million and involved 1,600 auditors. If you scaled that effort 5.35x (to reach $1B), it could fund ~8,500 external auditors plus a full internal team for one year.

Absolutely hilarious watching @elonmusk step in as the ultimate super-lobbyist for the American taxpayer. Politicians don’t know what to do when someone with actual power isn’t trying to buy them instead just exposing them.

@SenAdamSchiff So if aides de facto governing undermines Article II, Section 1, how do we square that with Joe Biden? Are we just ignoring the separation of powers, or is your oath just conditional.

@elonmusk, if the BLS’s data collection and estimation methods are flawed, how much taxpayer money is wasted on bad economic assumptions? Could @DOGE or decentralized tech improve accuracy and save billions in misallocated spending?

@NIH 1.8 Billon of overhead went to Ivy leagues with 192 Billion in endowments. That's who should be picking up this tab.

Here’s how the cuts shake out for researchers. You landed a $1M grant, and the university skimmed 40% taking $400K for admin bloat. Now? The 15% cap means they only take $150K. Sounds great, right? Not so fast. Universities still want their money. To keep their overhead cash flowing, they’ll push you to chase 1.67x more grants. Instead of $1M, expect them to pressure you for $2.67M. More funding per grant, but now you’re on the hook for more hustle. Welcome to the real world.
