We have been convincing them for years. Didn't help.
After October 7th it's really hard for me (and I know I'm not the only one) to consider palestinian suffering. We haven't even been able to process our own suffering yet. And while we still have hostages in Gaza- it's ongoing.

Palestinians in the west bank are not "on lock down by military order"- they are free to go anywhere just as they were over 3 months ago. I can take a photo of palestinian cars on the roads as usual, Palestinians in work places. 1/

They knew. We knew all along they are digging tunnels. But Israel was out of Gaza strip- imagine the outrage if we entered back to handle this.

I've seen a woman with a toddler in her arms saying the aid doesn't get to them and is taken by Hamas.
My heart breaks for those people. The worst part is Hamas don't seem to mind the suffering. But it wont end until hamas is eliminated and the hostages returned.

They'll be proud of Yemenis fighting "for gaza" when their own people are starving, and angry at Israelis and jews who fly back to join the army and protect our own people.
I've stopped trying to understand their logic, too twisted for me.

Just so you know- administrative detention is also used for "settelers" and extreme right people who are suspected of Jewish terror.
It is a problematic system but it is subject to judicial criticism.

A 9 yo and his 6 yo sister hid in the closet after their mom was murdered in front of them. Their 3 yo sister was kidnapped to Gaza. I haven't slept for 4 weeks now thinking of those kids.

Alma Avraham, 84 years old, was held hostage for 50 days with no medical treatment. Red Cross refused to take her medications from the family that begged for their help. Alma arrived in a critical state and is currently fighting for her life. Thank you human rights organizations.
Alma Avraham was taken hostage by Hamas, she was abused and treated terribly, she is seriously ill and the Red Cross refused to even try to deliver her medication. She arrived with a heart rate of 40 and body temperature of 28 degrees- she is now in the ICU.

We don't see any other choice. They are held for 47 days now. A 10 month baby. A 2 year old girl. Three year Olds.. you get it. The exchange isn't logic. Pure kids in exchange for people who already tried to murder. But we can't wait any longer. Our hearts ache for the kids

The problem is palestinians see it as an invasion, while jews have been living here all along. Instead of sharing the land they decided they want it all to themselves and brought only pain to both sides since.
They had many opportunities to stop the cycle.

Although I've always been on the right side of the political map here in Israel, I've always hoped peace can be achieved.
Even as a child who grew up after Oslo accords, and as a teenager in Jerusalem in the midst of the second intifada.
Now- I'm not so sure.
