Designed and made my first backdrop this weekend!. Could not have done it without the help of @banthis120 for the idea plus a HUGE help from @CrossOliver8 and Mackenzie Higgins who helped with laying it out and gluing it! . #ComeToTheBay

For our #NSD24 look, wanted to put to use all of the great photos we get during visits!. So rather than just a couple cutouts, we incorporated studio pictures, family pictures, personality pictures, and pictures with coach to give a more well rounded view of the athlete!

I found 40 active college athletics creative jobs (Skullsparks and NCAA job board was main source) and only 13 had anything mentioning a salary range. Only 6 had the literal salary on the posting while the other 7 gave a pay grade identifier.

Feeling really good about the graphics branding for this year. None of these graphics were created by me but both maintain our look and branding for the season that I’ve used and keeps all of our stuff looking consistent even when i can’t make them!

5,377 photos taken yesterday vs. Yale ➡️ 640 photos selected, edited, and uploaded to @INFLCR (all on a bus on the way back) in 3 hours after the final play. Fast turnaround time (without sacrificing quality) for our athletes and social channels is the most important thing I do.

@tysonhutchins_ @by_angelv Think something that also needs mentioning is the work load and expectations. Corporate or private sector creatives can do 9-5 but most college creatives are working 70+ hours a week.

@Llehctimb @Kelly_Quinlan Why? Volleyball is great. WBB is great. Basketball went to the torunament last year. Baseball will be good. He’s done well with everything but football. Obviously the most important sport but he’s done well otherwise.

@badesignpodcast It’s so much easier to cut out players with the trackpad plus zooming in and out and stuff. I can’t use a mouse to design.

We've talked a lot about how to use obstacles like coaches, staff, players, refs, etc. to create natural frames for our images so really happy with how @JRockHead15 is putting that concept to use!

Coach T is one of the best coaches and humans I’ve ever met. He truly cared for his players in a way that has been lost in this sport and he maintained his enthusiasm and charisma throughout tough times. He will truly be missed but remembered as a Dartmouth Man. 💚.
