RT @EndTribalism: Throwback to last year’s RFK Jr. presidential campaign Super Bowl ad that broke the internet. Crazy how much can change…

@SpartanMike96 @NYGiantsRush @jokershawn37 That’s a fair assessment. With big time games in the two super bowls against the #1 Super Bowl Quarterback… It puts him over the edge. Barely.

@BlueBoxDave When Matthew Broderick is On, he's really On. Denzel nearly stole the show in that one though. Great movie! If it wasn't for the entire cast being phenomenal, perhaps he would have.

You made a good case for Eli. But… gotta play devil’s advocate… Those Giants vs Pats games… were billed as an elite defense vs Brady’s bunch. It wasn’t billed as a battle between two future HOF QBs. Because Eli is borderline first ballot. I can see the case for not voting for him first ballot: He needed those two Super Bowl wins in order to be in the conversation for first ballot. And one of those wins involved a relatively unknown WR catching a ball with one hand on his helmet. When Eli is smiling after the games, you can tell he knows he played a great game- sure- but he also got lucky some- and he knows that too. When Peyton is talking to him- they’re analyzing the game- sure- but you can tell he’s thinking… “Brother, you got lucky. This Brady guy is really tough to beat.” (Maybe even a little jealousy from his big brother) As a QB, you can manage the game clock, maybe call some good plays, audibles, hot routes… make the perfect throws… But sometimes the game comes down to defense… or a last second Field Goal from the kicker… or a WR catching a ball on his helmet(!) And sometimes we forget, when comparing Quarterbacks, that many a critical play in the big games comes down to the quarterback’s teammates. It’s a team sport. Brady LEADS the Pats to the Super Bowl for nearly half his career. The Giants made those two playoff runs because they had an elite defense.
