I really dislike Marxists who swear by the classical texts as though it were bible & any deviation from it is as sacrilege. The point of studying Marx et al isn’t to reproduce his ideas and strategies in this day and age, but to understand the logical and dialectical - 1/x

Another way of seeing it is simply that China *subordinated* capital into a force for advancing the productive capacities of the state without getting shackled by the internal contradictions of Capitalism. China correctly recognized the historical role capitalism is *meant* to play and what its limitations are - and acted accordingly. Don’t blame China for getting it right, blame America for getting it disastrously wrong.

@cderedpanda Nearly all the posts I have about men are deeply unpleasant ones but they make it so hard to say good things. The worst that men experience is loneliness, for us, is emotional and physical trauma. At least the guys I do interact with are decent people so that’s a plus I guess.
