I'm not sure any season build up has ever beaten C2S7 and the reveal of The Last Reality. The ARG roped in people outside of the Fortnite community who were adamant that it couldn't be for Fortnite. They made real life crop circles.

Epic Games' idea of getting rid of LTMs and relying on creative was one of their worst. Creative can exist for goofy things, but it's definitely no replacement for LTMs made by professionals who know what they're doing.

- in the C4S4 trailer the date Kado was returning from with Oro's head was the date he released
- at the end of C4S4 the date was set to the start of C1S5, which is the season C4OG started on.
They chose May 4 for a reason

It's so annoying that they're sticking us with some of the bad changes post-C1 in the C1 throwback season. Fuel shouldn't exist. Team Rumble should have a long time until the storm closes to the final fight. I bet Ballers are going to be the bad C3S3 battery-powered ones too :(

Interactive can be good.. Like I'm a big fan of what they did with stuff from Zero Crisis to Collision. I think the Fracture event would've been better if the main event was like the fight against the Cube Queen, then what we got was a replayable experience afterward.

Remember this part of the Oathbound quests back in C4S1? You placed these objects around the Zero Point's coverstone and hit them in order with the moon phases. Immediately after this, Stellan tells us about the Shapeless man.
This was one of the spectrograms in one of the phone call messages during the whole "They're coming" ARG leading up to C2S7. Just find it interesting now.

When Epic teased that The Seven could be saved...
then a season later AMIE found out how to get to them with the Rift Gate and once again was teased they could be saved. Then she hijacked an AIM unit and stepped through the gate.
We haven't seen her or The Seven ever since.

I was fortunate to avoid problems in those.
But I remember when events had a Team Rumble-esque LTM, but it was possible to hit the elim counter before the event started and then you had to scramble to get into a new match before it did.

You can still configure the settings so you have to "earn" progress.
Other people can play how they want. That doesn't affect you in any way.
The world would be so much better if people stopped measuring themselves based on how other people play games.
