"If you have anti- #domesticviolence laws, reporting mechanisms and shelters - that are unmatched in #Iraq - why are so many women and girls killed in such horrific ways across #Kurdistan Region? What is stopping them from accessing these services?" That was my first question when this research began in March 2023 . Today we have issued the answer in this @amnesty report:
