@ciaraquill In practical subjects we can sign off a form stating the work wasn't completed under the supervision of the teacher. Maybe these projects need to be done solely in class?

@willocallaghan Wait until Davy has the goalie coach at full back, the 2nd physio at 7 and the sambo back on the square. Davy is only playing mind games........!

@offtheball @taggykk @Carlow_GAA The experience to get the draw with Offaly? We had beaten them in the Joe MC final! The bulk of our panel has Liam McCarthy experience also!!!

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Eh I totally agree - a paid manager telling amateur players to jump! Agree 💯. That's tom Ryan's point too I d imagine. Either theres some curb on spending (and "power") or we loose all that is good about our sports.

@conorf1990 @officialgaa That's a pity - hard to give up something that you love and obviously a big family connection there too. I d have my concerns where the gaa is going and I think money/demands on players are becoming too much. Counties spending over 2 million on county prep? Not sustainable

@conorf1990 @officialgaa But it's not his job? He's not required to do it. It's a choice - same as you/me choose to volunteer etc. if it doesn't work for them with their career choice then hard to fit in for sure. The "demands" are driven by managers and players - it's noty job to pay for them!

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Well, it should be on the statement of the year end - money in v money out? Was there "coaching expenses" or something like that in the statement? As a member you can ask questions!

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Absolutely, but aren't clubs worse to give it to them? We re too small a country to look to get paid for all these roles. Volunteers are at the heart of all local sport.

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Most club management? Most likely. Love of the game? Possibly I m sure. But isn't there "game" in their own clubs?! I agree, no one should. All on for that.

@conorf1990 @officialgaa I d query the club finances then. As a member you d be entitled to see them and the breakdown of all. Reality is volunteering in clubs will cost you time and money!

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Ps. Staff are different to volunteers. I m involved in 2 clubs currently. We dont have staff. We have volunteers that run out club.

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Ps clubs take money to run. Reality is membership will never fund the running of a club. Never.

@conorf1990 @officialgaa I devote lots of hrs to my club as an underage coach, a committee member etc so should I get paid? Where do you draw the line on who should get paid? Club chairs and sec put in huge hrs, should we pay them too?

@conorf1990 @officialgaa Probably 100k? And? He's running a 100m or more "company". He's not the issue. I reckon alone in Carlow we pay easily that and more yearly on club management.

@FrankSquare2 @officialgaa Most charities have paid staff? Hard run a 100+ million organisation on voluntary hrs.. a bit of realism please.
