In a city of near enough 9 million, folk are crammed into densely packed and often inadequate housing.
You can't just close public parks off. People will either flock elsewhere if they can; where they can't, self-isolation won't be sustainable as more flout rules later on.
Despite clear advice, over 3000 people spent today in Brockwell Park, many of them sunbathing or in large groups. This is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the actions of a minority now means that, following police advice, Brockwell Park will be closed tomorrow.
