I'm a recovering addict; I also don't like this terminology. Unhappily, the last time I remembered that I was in the flow of a story and my brain hastily pulled out "persons... experiencing...crackheadedness" to the mirth of my audience.
I don’t like this terminology at all at the best of times, but I’d also point out that people like Tom have been enthusiastically cutting the funding to services that might support people like this person for about 15 years now. And how is that going?
