A massive collective voice from @ccpscotland members. Don’t mistake just how concerned our sector is. And angry. 👇👇👇 @RachelReevesMP @ShonaRobison @IanMurrayMP @AngelaRayner @scvotweet @neilcgray @AnasSarwar @IanMWelsh Pls rethink @UKLabour

🙏🏻 @IanMWelsh for resharing. As powerful now as then. It’s almost like someone had done the work to come up with a good plan that had consensus-no? What a total loss of momentum, hope and political capital to do the hard things. Here’s the plan. Sadly needed more. @ccpscotland
Please watch this video and wonder how we have failed in Scotland over four years to make things better in social care and support @ALLIANCEScot @ccpscotland @ScotGovFM @scottishcare

Our Chief Executive, Mark Hoolahan, talks about a chronic lack of investment in social care that is impacting on workers and people we support. @scotgov is failing people in communities across Scotland. This winter social care workers need #MoreThanWarmWords. They need action!

Great you’re in 🏴 @AngelaRayner to discuss rights & support for lowest paid. Commissioned social care by @ccpscotland members face an est additional £30m eNICs bill. Will have a direct impact on key workers (esp women). ER Bill and treasury policy in direct conflict. Pls rethink

Ah, @ccpscotland staff. You’re a fab bunch; what a privilege to work with you. 🙏🏻 for all you’ve done in a tough 2024. To our members & their staff, many of whom will be working throughout the hols, things feel pretty awful for our sector but we’ll still have your back in 2025!

🙏🏻 #BBCSundayShow for airing concerns of @ccpscotland members re @RachelReevesMP eNIC increases on NfP social care orgs. @AnasSarwar says £5.2bn extra for Scotland. But with historic underinvestment in social care we should be spending this on eNICs not improvement? Surely not!
