one can still be rigorous about higher order needs like fun and entertainment. not all fun is durable. many NFT projects in their heyday looked like runaway hits with super engaged users, when in reality the need fulfilled was unsustainable speculation
I think most people are looking at consumer AI wrong.
They're focused on finding products that solve a problem or meet a clearly articulated need.
But when you look at runaway hits like Midjourney and Character AI, the "use case" is just people having fun.
