@justintadlock I recommend disabling the upload endpoint too, to avoid smart arses using the rest api via curl or other tools.

@markjaquith @VoxPrudentia Anything pinned to weeks is also a huge pain every few years when you get 53 or 27 pays in a year and have to deal with the tax office.

My first substantial pull requests to WordPress Playground were recently merged. It's now possible to run the latest commit to WordPress a few minutes after it was committed, so contributors no longer need to wait for the nightly.

13 years of contributing to WordPress

It appears some people like pre-commit hooks and some people don't. It's a real shame that all development processes need to be identical and it's impossible to decide what to do based on your individual project's needs.

Currently compiling some stats for a blog post. One stat of interest is that by the time I hit publish it will be 1,234 days since my previous blog post. Oops.

@cameronjonesweb I don’t have any insight into the affected plugins or the number of installs but the review team needs to assume a Yoast, Jetpack or WooCommerce committer account is compromised until they have proof that it isn’t the case.
