Not often a media man becomes a club legend. He afforded me such time, respect and guidance on many occasions as I made my way in journalism. None more so than when writing the foreword for my book. Very sad and thank him dearly for his time. RIP.

Eight years ago (yesterday) Jack Grealish helped keep Notts up in League One as an 18 year old. Tonight he’s ripping up Bernabeu (albeit from the bench) and making a Champions League final. We are our third year into the National League. He left us at the right time!
