Luke Williams in hospitality, his last message to players today he said was: Quote: “we have the best training ground, the best stadium, the best fans and the best players in the division. Noting to worry about. Enjoy”
41 goals in 88 club appearances for Kyle Wootton now. Not bad for someone who is “not a goalscorer”. Even better when you consider he is certainly more than that. Lucky to have him.
I despair with our fanbase sometimes I really do. Have your moans. Entitled to opinion. But don’t get personal towards a player and certainly not in an obvious way. How the hell will that help? Cameron has been a great signing, led us to promotion. Won’t be forgotten by me that.
Does nobody remember what we did under Hardy the season we got relegated? Everyone thought we’d bought the league and were dead certs. That brought us here. I’m going to trust the process until results show me otherwise. We’ve not even kicked the season off yet.
One of best individual performances from a Notts player I’ve seen in some time tonight. And that second half was bloody enjoyable. Kop turned up, too. Roll on Saturday.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that 9800 fans turned out for a Tuesday night match at Meadow Lane!

To say I’m delighted would be an understatement
Stuart Maynard is a sensational coach. He is the perfect fit for what we want
It goes deeper than the surface level ‘plays the same way’
The details are important; Maynard and Saunders are all about details
Please don’t be put
More respect needed for Nemane for me. Yes Jones is class but shocked how many want him to replace Nemane as a starter. Fit both in for me. Nemane time and time again most likely to unlock opposition. He’s been a revelation.
Doyle 10, Kelly-Evans, 10, Rawlinson 10, Lacey 10, Barnett 10, Enzio 10, Reeves 10, Ruben 10, Wootton 10, Knowles 10... do you know what even you can have a 10 for your cameo Inih....
Three years in a row Rawlinson has missed out in these games. Not saying that’s the difference maker but someone who heads it and kicks it might help a little.
Mansfield was great but all things considered that’s easily our best performance of the season. To a man, so good. Hemmings outstanding, Duffy and Stubbs superb.
New gaffer comes across well. He’s got such a tough act to follow, the way Luke carried himself and delivered. But he will give it everything you can be sure of that. Ridiculously tough fixtures to begin with, suspect teething problems. Has to be given time.
Want to single out Jim O’Brien though who I thought was comfortably man of the match (Crowley’s goals saved him - especially given his stupid celebration) and epitomised what we want to see. Some pride, passion and quality with it too. He keeps his shirt.
Love this guy. When we looked at team of the decade the lack of CB candidates was embarrassing. Someone who cares regardless of the levels. Front of the queue for me.

Connell Rawlinson: "You've got to put your life on the line to get the three points. There's no easy games in this league. It's a proud moment, especially to score at home in front of our fans."

I’m sorry but if that was in the Premier League it would be on a loop on Sky Sports News for 24 hours with polls about the GOAT and spin-off documentaries...
Still beggar’s belief this guy was left out of the playoffs. Madness after the season he had and he’s proving it all over again. Regardless of the levels, he’s the best centre half we’ve had in a decade.
Hard fought contest last night. It’s another point moving us in the right direction and Another clean sheet. We keep grinding and working hard

by the way. Proper bums of seats. Could sense the excitement every time he had the ball. Can’t wait to see more of him.
Any player can leave and as long as the King remains I know we are okay. He’s the most important by far. Obviously want Ruben, Nemane et al to be here, they are excellent. But Luke is the main man. If he’s still there we are okay. And it’s not yet June by the way!
So underrated and under appreciated I feel. Was immense last season too and alongside Bostock carried us in that final for most of it. Will be a big player again next season.
With playing Roberts and Ruben… I don’t think there is a single fan who wouldn’t play them… you must have a Wootton too. May not take all his chances but he’s a link man, physicality, scores a fair few too, and let’s others do their thing. I don’t think a new striker gets in.
Chesterfield at home. First game back after Covid. 4,000 sounded like 40,000. Five goals including a last minute winner and the prospect of a promotion. We will forget what happened next. Unforgettable day, mind.
After so long without a game, regardless of the competition, I just wanted to enjoy the winning feeling again. And late winners are always nice. Winning breeds winning. Forget thoughts of winning the Trophy - take it or leave it at this stage - but winning games always great!
Can’t believe Ardley is the longest-serving
#Notts
manager since our very own Record Breaker Big Sam. That’s crazy. Is he the one who has deserved the longest of them all in that time? Probably not, but it’s nice to have some continuity. And a plan running through the club?
You take those wins all day. Ellis was an addition we didn’t think was needed but he is very very good. Doyle played very well today. The best thing about the defensive record is you always stand a chance of winning. Just hope the attacking confidence starts to come back. YP!
That is huge. Outstanding football first half. Outstanding commitment second half. Showed we can do both now when the pressure is on? Some turnaround this. Now let’s get fifth and a home quarter.

Just unbelievable how many unbeaten how many points how many goals, how few defeats. Regardless of the level what a time to be a Pie. These seasons do not happen. Obviously we must finish it off to be truly legendary but enjoy the bloody rise. Might be mid table league two next!
I just hope Nolan isn't the stubborn type and he realises he's got it wrong last couple of games. Streuth he has done an unreal job so far, but the next few weeks will tell us so much about him.
Do I like reading this? Yes. Do I believe it? Impossible to until they are pictured with contracts signed at Meadow Lane and Ardley starts making signings.

support has been outstanding all season. Still clapping off after 4-1 defeat. Can’t recall them really turning on the team at all after what has been the worst season in living memory. Deserve huge, huge credit.
We will not return to the top seven this season. That’s our time done, and rightly so. Shouldn’t still be in there after the last three months we’ve had.
Don’t subscribe to the view that injuries mean we may as well lose today and “concentrate on the league”. FA Cup games arent scheduled to add more league games currently. We haven’t had a good run for ages. And after last week a confidence boost be nice. Go and win.
Sorry but how can we laugh at Wrexham. Conceded nine goals against two bottom half sides without them having to break sweat for them. Big scoring Swindon next… defence hasn’t been the right personnel all season. Wasn’t sorted. Two loanees without a sniff.
A few people peddling the lines of Sam, Knowles, Ruben etc not replacing Dennis, Thomas and not being as good. Don’t think their goal contributions per minutes can be faulted to be fair. Don’t think they are the problem at all.
Seriously? Wtf. Some fans will never be happy. The attendance tells a story. National League and average 7-8000. Couldn’t even get up to that in some League One seasons.
Has anyone got any ideas on Brindley, Baldwin, Bostock, McGoldrick… no? Because none of these so called journos ask? Pathetic set of questions to Maynard again.
