@KMathison1967 It seems to me the claim, "When Van Til talks about 'knowing truly,' he means, 'knowing righteously,'" moves the discussion from epistemology to ethics. Is that not the case? I'm thinking out loud as it were after the RF podcast last week.

@uncle_deluge @redeemed_zoomer It says only ministers *may* administer the sacraments. Unlike e.g. Romanists, the WCF 27 ties the validity of the sacraments to "the work of the Spirit, and the word of institution," not "the piety or intention of him that doth administer it[.]" We're not Donatists.
