Yes we need growth, but it should be growth which improves living standards and restores aspiration too.

While good relations important with both, important to remember public hugely favours closer relationship with Europe.
Keir Starmer was asked in Brussels what happens if he's forced to choose between US and UK? "It’s really important that we work with both, and we don’t see it as an either/or," he said. UK's total trade in goods & services with US was £294bn last year, and £822bn with EU. But also deep defence & security r'ship to consider, esp in context of Ukraine.

Truth matters. Here, anti-refugee lies amplified by Musk. When hateful lies are spread online, it toxifies discussion and puts people at risk in the real world.
This wildly misleading tweet, and the mostly hateful replies, is like entering an alternate version of reality. If anybody is interested in the truth behind this claim, and what that Swedish poll actually asked, I'll go through it. Probably banging my head against a wall. 😂
