In a few days, Water level data in Chennai shall be available 24x7 & shall be accessible to everyone. Chennai to be the first Indian Metropolitan city to have 200 Telemetric Groundwater Level Recorders installed across the city. 20 RainGauges also to be added to the city.
Soon, Chennai residents can check groundwater table and rainfall data in their localities, online. Work to fix rain gauges and digital water level recorders at Chennai Metrowater offices is nearly complete, officials said

2nd Virtual Grievance Day/காணொளி குறைதீர்வு கூட்டம் was held in Karur. 32 citizens interacted with me directly. As an improvement, officials from all depts had also logged in, facilitating on the spot redressal for many issues. 90% grievances from 1st meeting hv been redressed.

Visited Karur Govt Museum & Archeological Site museum, both housed in rental buildings. It is interesting to learn abt the unique history of the region-Vanji or Karuvur, the capital of Early Chera Kingdom. A revamped educative museum with more attractions shall be set up soon.
