Solar Eclipse over Katahdin -
One of the most amazing sights of the eclipse was the ghost-like light on the mountain as it received the first rays of sunlight on the other side of totality, while we were still in shadow. It was incredible.

The crane over at Bath Iron Works had quite the load the other night. I was driving home from an assignment when I noticed it lined up almost perfectly from the bridge. I turned around and ran out with my long lens and tripod to get this.

The new route 201 bridge connecting Brunswick and Topsham appears to be damaged in the new unsecured section. They are trying to get the cranes off now. The Androsscoggin River is extremely high.
