An important thread re job security and career progression for doctors. Come on @wesstreeting . Surely you must show some leadership and direction to @NHSEngland on this? It could give you some good headlines! But more importantly, look after the young docs.

This thread. This should not be happening to Eilidh .... nor any other doctors finishing their FY2. There has to be a structured career path and training places @wesstreeting . You are now Sec of State and responsible for sorting this for this huge pool of committed talent.
6 years ago, when I got an offer for medical school, I was told I’d have a job for life. Weekly, I hear of people that can’t get doctors appointments, or two year waitlists. Doctors in their thousands are getting rejected for jobs, and today I was one of them. A 🧵.
