It was our weekly crew training night this evening at Moelfre Lifeboat Station, and when I saw how lovely the moon looked reflecting on the water, I popped over to the RNLI Coxswain Richard (Dic) Evans statue to get a shot of our boathouse from there. Handheld shot with Nikon Z6 11 and 24-70 lens.

The mill and the church Llanddeusant. Thankfully, the mill emerged unscathed from the storm. Anglesey's history is peppered with gale-force winds, which is why the cap on Llynon Mill, and indeed all the windmills on the island, can only be turned manually. This unique process involves an endless chain on the opposite side of the sails. In contrast, the majority of mills in the South of England would have had a fantail on the back of the mill to turn the sails automatically into the wind. However, the lighter cap of these mills would not have been suitable for a weather-exposed island like Anglesey.

@angleseycircuit I doubt that there is another racing circuit in the UK with a finer view, and many drivers, riders, and spectators who visit the circuit share that opinion.
