While I like the creativity, this would seem to be a huge disadvantage to the top tier teams - instead of having to be beaten 4 out of 7, they could lose a couple fluke games and be out without even getting an elimination game. World Cup style playoffs is a lil too extreme IMO

The irony of all of this is that the Cavs probably would have beaten the Rockets in the Finals. CP3 would have missed the first 2 games & probably have been limited the rest of the series. LeBron was playing the best b-ball of his career before punching a whiteboard after G1 🤫

CA schools should break away from the NCAA and start their own minor league that pays ATHs. Tons of schools would soon follow suit. NCAA has no legal power or authority, only the power schools allow it to have.
