We loved our recent visit to the @BronteParsonage in Haworth, so we were happy to get an invitation to return! On Friday 31st January, we attended the opening of the new Changing Places facilities at the museum, and to view their new exhibit: 'From Haworth to Eternity'. The long-awaited facilities will be appreciated by all Parsonage visitors, but especially by those with a health condition or disability, who may have struggled to access Haworth's existing facilities. It was lovely to hear speeches from the Parsonage team and those involved in the new exhibition, and really interesting to see the new collection of memorabilia, including cinematic history. Every day this week, all of our members have been celebrating #ChineseNewYear! We have been learning about the history of different new year traditions, found out what all of our zodiac signs are, enjoyed some fortune cookies and Seaweed rice crackers and had lost of fun doing ribbon dancing! Some members have also gotten very creative with making paper Lanterns and Writing with calligraphy! We hope everyday has had a fantastic Lunar New Year! Last Saturday, our team leader Janet went to the @AiredaleSC shopping centre for the @bradford2025 Launch Celebration! We had a stall advertising all the different work we do at People First Keighley & Craven. We were joined by one of our members Adrian as well as a few members of our community! Tomorrow on Saturday 18th January from 12pm, People First Keighley & Craven will be attending the @bradford2025 launch celebration at @AiredaleSC! There will be lots of fun activities on all day, and our Team Leader Janet will be on a stall with lots of different sensory items from our positivity pop-ups!
