I wrote an article about an unintuitive but powerful mulliganing approach for Titan: keeping bad hands. I go over when and why this works, as well as how to evaluate whether an unexciting hand is bad, or "just bad enough to work."

I kept MANY bad hands this weekend (particularly against breach) and won most of them on the way to winning RC Portland. While this article is very dated, a lot of the same concepts still apply and I articulate my thoughts very well. Please give it a read!

@Mistakenn1 You’re otp so you don’t need to worry about counterspells, only removal/pierce/FoN. Bottoming any of azusa, pact, or Gsz are all bad into FoN, although bottoming azusa worse into pierce but much better into removal. Imo bottom Azusa. Straightforward t2 kill with Gsz for grazer.

Went from Bronze 4 to Mythic in 3 days with @GeneralQuinniac mono red, swapping the shocks for burst lightning. I don’t play standard and have no idea what I’m doing. Deck seems great.
