Wanna just give a shout out to all my opponents at #SCGPORTLAND. Everyone I played this weekend was super friendly and good sports. The format is not great right now but instead of being negative we can laugh off how silly it is and shake hands at the end of the match 🤝

@pamarante0313 Not really but ideally you hit one of the bounce lands to take them off 2 mana instead of just 1.

@pamarante0313 The idea was that the good eldrazi players sequence around charmaw so you can't cast it on t3. Rain you can always cast on 3. And I randomly played Amulet 3 times this event so the rains were fantastic!

@LmtlssB Funny thing is i played eldrazi 0 times and Amulet 3 times and they were great there. Modern is weird rn because the top decks are sooo much better than everything else your Sideboard is 8-9 breach hate cards 3-4 eldrazi hate cards and then 3 random 1 ofs.

@csunsfeniks The good eldrazi players sequence their lands so you can't cast charmaws on time. It was usually 4 mana in our testing. And the mass adoption of 3/4 chrysalis means it barely gets to attack either.

@Fnapozor I leave in 3 phlages. Post board they just become a control deck and have no real answer for phlage. Against breach i go -2 pride -3 prison -1 phlage -1 Bombardment -1 spyro -1 fable + all the obvious hate cards. I left out vacuum bc of how awkward it is with stony/wrath

@CoreyBaumeister Oh definitely I just watched it back and it was a horrible punt on my end lol. I think it probably wins me game 3. In my head I had one more turn because bounce land only gets him to 5 but didn't factor in 2nd Amulet or Lotus getting him to 6 that turn.
