I've made $304,960 in the last 12 months.
As a Tech YouTuber with 48,141 subscribers.
But many YouTubers with way more subscribers earn way less than this.
I made a video that shares exactly how I did it.

A few thoughts following this whole Linus thing.
1. Do any other creators have the ability to replace YouTube videos? (Keeping the same URL)
2. LMG is massive. Yes, there are failings and mistakes that the company has made, along with bad judgement calls. But to make personal
@nothing
As raunchy as this is, I know nobody who plugs in their charger with this much precision every time 😬
You need a machine that wobbles whilst doing this 30,000 times!

3m views on a 25-day-old video 😳

My other videos don't get anywhere near that number!
I made a video that shares how it happened and what it's done to my channel.

Sure. YouTube is all raindrops and roses.
I don't know what it is about Samsung owners 🤦🏼♂️
My favourite is
#5
😂
This doesn't warrant a response and gets an instant 'hide forever'!
Bye bye 👋🏼
Be wary of any Pixel 7 & 7 Pro Camera Comparisons.
My phone got an update at midnight last night that fixed tonnes of bugs and camera quality issues.
I had to totally rewrite today's video!
May also affect other reviews.
Re-shooting my comparison video later this week! 😅
For those wondering where my iPhone 15 review video is... It's not coming.
I am legitimately bored of the iPhone, and not sure what I have to contribute to the billions of iPhone videos already uploaded.
There's a reason I enjoy making videos about all the variations of
Content creators. What do you do with boxes?
I keep thinking to hold onto them for resale value, but realistically I don’t ever sell them, and when I do, it’s trading in for the new version (no box needed).
Should I just bin them?
Picked up my iPhone and discovered all of my wife's 'shared library' photos were all back on my phone, after removing them from the library from my wife's phone AND she left and deleted the entire shared library.
How is this not a bigger thing and how has apple not patched this
OK ok... So I REALLY like the S23 Ultra. I'm switching.
What are the must-have Apps / Widgets / things??
And I don't mean 'switching for a video then switching back'.
I'm actually switching.
The only thing I can't figure out is the Watch situation...
I just completed my second financial year of being a full-time creator, just hit 80k Subscribers, and in March 2023, I earned $37,400 - and $375,677 over the last 12 months.

He got called out for making repeated mistakes in his videos. They've now paused all videos for a minimum of 1 week whilst they sort their processes out
10 years married today, and back where we went on our honeymoon 10 years ago. But this time with 2 kids in tow!

Apple passwords app seems pretty basic so far. No custom fields and no word on cross platform support.
Reserving judgement until full release but right now, stick with a proper password manager.
Thank you for 130k 🙏🏼 🥳
Next month we're moving the studio into a whole new location.
Excited to get to start fresh with a blank canvas and build version 2.0 of this thing.
Couldn't do this without the team behind the scenes either - you know who you are 👊🏼
YouTubers - PSA - Create a brand new email account and Move your YouTube channel to that account.
Don't tell a single person what the email address for that account is.
Too many people are getting hacked at the moment.
Graphs like this really makes YouTubing difficult.
18 days later, this video sucks. I'll never make it again. My audience hates it.
20 days later, perhaps I was wrong?
30 days later, cool. It's doing OK.
37 days later, I should make more of these!
Did you know that when some YouTubers say "X Brand sent these out to me"
It's because they bought them.
And when people say "I've partnered with Y Brand", it doesn't always mean they have.
I've started noticing this trend recently and it feels really misleading
20,000 of you! INSANE.
Thank you to everyone watching. Thanks to those who subscribed, liked, disliked and commented. Thanks to those who have sponsored videos over the last year, and thanks to
@1Password
for being my first channel partner. It means the world to me! 🙌🏼🍻
Saw this pop up on my feed thinking
@PaddyG96
had uploaded a new video.
But instead, it's someone who's totally copied the same format. Title, Thumbnail, video format, even the same graphics in the video, and even the calm way he speaks.
2022. Almost 2 years ago from when I quit my job, sold my business and focused on my YouTube and Coaching.
It's been the best 12 months of my life and I turn 37 this year.
It's never too late to change up what you're doing - so go get it!
So many people have been in touch since my thread / video around earning $300k per year.
Many people don't see the long journey I've been through to get here.
@LinusTech
Considered using a tool like
@Officevibe
for the team to submit anonymous feedback? I’ve used this with a lot of my clients. It’s a great way to identify areas of improvement and for staff to speak without fear of backlash
Not every YouTuber is hyper-focused on subscriber count
As the channel approaches 100k (INSANE!) it was actually my wife who told me that we'd hit 90k! 🤣
I'm just having a blast doing what I'm doing
So for now, THANKS for being a part of the best job ever
Living my best life!
The past 28 days have been an absolute blast / rollercoaster.
One short is approaching 4m views
Another approaching 1m
Another over 300k
Insane.
Don’t sleep on shorts.
Now the battle is on to keep traffic + subs ticking along.
Creators, how much of your old footage do you keep?
I used to keep everything.
Now I keep just b-roll
But other than some carefully picked and archive b roll clips, I don’t find myself going back to find old footage.
What do you do?
YouTube Sponsorships.
I've always been happy to make introductions to brands I've worked with - anything to help a fellow creator out.
Would you do the same?
