We're starting 2025 by launching one of our most-requested features ever: Deadlines in Todoist! 🎯 A big assignment at school. A report for your boss. Taxes (😱). Deadlines let you track a task’s actual deadline separately, so you can schedule time to start working on it. Here’s Jon with a quick intro to how they work:

Syncing all-day tasks is now an option in our Calendar integration – you can choose if you want to view all your scheduled tasks in Google Calendar or just your time-blocked ones. This means you can do your time-blocking in GCal, and watch your schedule sync back to Todoist in no time. 📅 🏎️

Hi Kevin, and sorry for what seems to have been a misunderstanding. From what the team can deduce, it looks like you may have been dealing with a login issue – perhaps related to an invalid password. (We've all been there!) We hope that it goes without saying that we would never, ever block access to anyone's account in this way of for this reason. (Or really any reason, except maybe some kind of fraud or egregious violation.) We appreciate feedback on how the app can improve of the type you've provided, and would also never remove any conversations on Reddit for that reason. Nor could we, since it's a user-led community and we don't have that control. Digging around, it seems like your posts (like this one? ) are still up, so that's what's making us think it might be a misunderstanding. We really appreciate your longstanding usage of Todoist – you really have been with us for a while! 🙏 – and would love the chance to try to resolve your login issues. Going to and filling out the help form there will connect you with our support team, who should be able to help. The change you requested to the Upcoming view may be more complicated, but they'll happily log your request, so our product team can better understand your experience and let that inform their plans for improvement.
