@SamBraslow @KillerMartinis This crap makes me so utterly sick, I can't stand it. The coldness, the cruelty. The mockery. The senselessness of their so-called logic, such as equating masks with communism and Jim Crow. And subjecting all the innocent workers who basically have no choice but to be exposed.

@SamBraslow @KillerMartinis Not only that, the mall, department stores, even WalMarts, are completely meaningless places for protests. They don't make the rules. They're not the health department. They're not the CDC. They're not the local capital. These people are just looking to bully someone. Period.

As a Texan, I am in agreement with this, @SpeakerPelosi. Ted Cruz does not represent the people of Texas. He represents only one party, and only the hard line members of that party, at that.

Seriously, if you're scared of people in masks because you think they're sick, maybe put a mask on?🤷♀️.
Walking into a store with my daughter, both in n95’s .Lady pulls her daughter behind her.Her : Are you sick ? We have parties this weekend. Me : Would be a hell of a lot smarter if you were masked right now .Her: 🧐.Me : Be careful, TB is going around 😉.Her : What ?!.✌🏼.

@eofallthings One time, I was working at a contact lens laboratory, and I had to dye a whole tray of lenses the lightest shade of green for the queen of Jordan. After I tore the third lens in a row, I quit. Couldn't take it.

@Alina_MSN_RN What the what? I've been hearing of this happening to other remote workers. Like all of a sudden, remote work is just not allowed anywhere, even if that was your actual job. Can we get anymore backwards?🤦♀️.

@BartenderHemry This was an outstandingly insightful thread. It puts into words, very effectively, what I've been observing for some time. It's sad but true. Disinformation is not the problem. It's the entire "moral compass" that they claim is superior, which is indeed failing us. and them.

@eugenegu The entire system of this country is predatory and inhumane. That's what happens when you try to build a country on stolen labor produced by stolen and enslaved humans. You end up with a system that is cruel. Period.

@MBurner3000 @conservativ3ant @QueenAnticommie Thank you! Yes, masking was never weird until it was interpreted to mean, "We don't like your orange man and we might even be kinder than you. Yikes, kindness! Scary!" They can't handle kindness because it makes them feel vulnerable and they don't have the equipment to cope with.

@luckytran And honestly, a little old lady with a walker is someone in a disguise, huh? And we're the scared ones? When you start getting scared of all the disabled people and old ladies with walkers, that's some next-level paranoia.

My #1 most likely risk from catching SARS would be a stroke. I am a stroke risk, SARS can cause strokes, and I don't want one. That is the cost I have to weigh with every in-person healthcare experience. If it's not worse than the potential effects of a stroke, I'm out. No.

@ksorbs They had mandated masks and closures for the flu of 1918. But, funny thing, we never lost our Constitutional rights. So I'm thinking maybe it doesn't work that way. Just sayin. .

@DrMarinaHarris "You need to forgive." . No. No, I don't. My mental health is not contingent on my forgiving anyone. The trouble is usually not lack of forgiveness anyway, but rather, damage to boundaries that need to be shored up, not relaxed further.

@CovidintheChart If they're not letting you in, they're refusing service. If they're refusing service, that's on them. Mandate or none, you have a right to have a mask on, and to have gainful employment while wearing one.

@Brasilmagic What a big-ass man! SO big! Standing down a little, bitty girl nurse, trying to intimidate her with his size & his machismo. Fragile is what he is. If that's what he has to to make himself feel big. He is very, very small on the inside. And probably in other ways too, frankly.

I am comforted in the knowledge that @realDonaldTrump is afraid for his health tonight. He uses anger as a front to disguise his fear. He has had little reason to fear up until now, and has led a nationwide mob in mockery of any fear anyone might have. Now. It's. His. Turn.

@J__Possum You are not hysterical, just because you're not numb to a pandemic that has not ended. People who think we're hysterical for masking would think a wall is hysterical. We're just being practical and sensible. They're the ones being overly-sensitive to something perfectly sensible.

Just finished Mary Trump's book, a treatise on HOW trump became what he is. A few takeaways:.- He is driven by fear. - His biggest fear is being seen as a failure. - He has a pathological need to minimize negativity. - His cruelty is meant to distract from his failures. #FAILURE.

@luckytran @MsJulieSLam "Allowed"? That's where we are now? "If necessary due to a disability"? Not just because you don't want one, or because you don't want to kill someone else, or for any other humane reason. So, you actually had to be disabled to be allowed to wear a mask there? Yes, they are.

@howroute @joncoopertweets A few years ago, my Trumpster sister got so bent out of shape, just from overhearing a liberal complaining at a store about a lack of a certain product, when she (my sister) left, she was in such a screaming fury, she lost control of her car, hit a curb, and popped her own tire.

@thislilyspad @cltomlinson Yes, a class action suit, for all the millions of people who suffered. I particularly would like the hours of power that we PAY for to be reimbursed. And I resent that a-hole who said people are looking for a handout. No, we just want what we freaking PAY for.
