A child is not the property of their parents. It doesn’t matter one iota what the mother “feels”. The child is an independent person with their own rights.
Any half decent parent wouldn’t care, they would just be proud to have been a part of bringing a person into the world.

Children’s brains haven’t fully developed, depending on age and other factors, may not for many years. Part of that development is attention and focus. You just punished your kid for being a kid, something he cannot control. Way to go, top parenting 👍

I think it's absolutely critical to an open project. If studios are going to adopt Godot over the likes of Unity and Unreal, visibility of the direction will be a huge contributing factor in that decision-making process, given just how closed both of the others are.

I don’t understand how religious people don’t see how creepy the things they say are. If I were to say to someone, “just do what I say, don’t think for yourself, follow my commands blindly, and if you don’t I’ll torture in the basement forever”, I’d quite rightly be locked up.

Secular morality is based on well-being and empathy. Risking someone's life to save another is an act of selflessness that both demonstrates empathy and a willingness to take risks for someone else's well-being, hence in line with secular morality.

I do find it interesting that most theists assume that atheists were at some time believers and "lost their way". I have never been a believer, never had it forced upon me in any way shape or form. I think that level of indoctrination at a young age is reserved mainly for the US.
