Asset curation > asset management Asset management - customers transfer custody of their assets to a professional manager who rebalances portfolios according to their mandate Asset curation - customers deposit funds in an on-chain vault while retaining full custody over their assets. They can configure guardrails and permissions to Curators like @gauntlet_xyz to adjust vault parameters. Protocols e.g., @MorphoLabs then reallocate liquidity to reach desired risk-adjusted returns. Advantages to users? - Trustlessly retain custody over assets - Stronger liquidity with deposit/withdraw - Transparency (on-chain) into capital allocations - Leverage greater efficiency from Curators’ off-chain infra

Lending markets are only as strong as their performance during market stress. Liquidations on Morpho have been processed as designed.
1/ The risk models and automation we integrate into Gauntlet-curated @MorphoLabs vaults are designed to weather extreme market events. Over the weekend, our vaults functioned as expected. Liquidations occurred in an orderly fashion, with no losses to vault suppliers.

@KyleSamani @multicoincap great article! one thing about the payments side though - would it make more sense to compare Solana to Venmo rather than bank wire transfers and credit cards? Bank wire transfer costs are more interbank than retail, and credit cards charging 2% come from default risk
