holy shit. how is netflix able to stream such detailed film grain on highly compressed video? bc it's made dynamically client-side. they interpret the film grain characteristics from the source video before compression, then rebuild it on decode

here’s an crazy example of iPhone 11 as a daily camera. This photo looks unusable, right? Bad crop, bus in BG, etc. 1. Move the live frame to 1 second earlier.2. Since ultra wide is captured even in a standard shot, adjust crop to OUTSIDE your original frame. Boom. Passable🤯
