âYou donât know what youâre talking aboutâ. Maybe not in relation to the regime at Spurs. But, following my Diss, I was invited out to the AIS to discuss my findings. I know a bit about training intensity & what can happen. I overtrained & suffered illness and injury.
The amount of pressing Solanke and Kulusevski do in every single match is unsustainable. Theyâll either run out of steam, or worse, get a significant injury. Our squad is thin and the volume of muscle injuries to players creates huge problems for rotation. I do worry.

Haaland isnât on Kaneâs level. When Kane was playing in a poor Spurs team, he would still affect play. He would still score goals. He would work hard for the team. Haaland is great when the team is ticking. If theyâre not, heâs anonymous. Luxury striker.
