Although I appreciate all the enthusiasm from MoonDAO members, we should be careful to idolize anyone (myself included). No one is free of missteps. All the “crypto founders” that are idolized eventually have the “worship” go to their heads and hubris takes them down (e.g. SBF)

We don’t want a king of Twitter, we’d like to decentralize the power held by it. Open backend data anyone can pull from (like a public utility protocol), and frontend companies can build and monetize on top. Followers, likes, profile etc are interoperable between all front ends.

Just staked 5,000,000 $MOONEY. I'll wait to see how much other people stake and potentially add more. Aiming to have no more than ~10% control of the DAO. Soon we'll move to quadratic voting and it won't be as much of an issue to stake more.

Most “DAOs” are just regular companies that have a symbolic token for non-binding votes. It’s just branding. They’re just a regular company + a Discord. A good litmus test for whether something is *actually* a DAO is if you’re allowed to vote out the board/CEO. Usually you can’t!

DAOs are community first. The network is the valuable thing — not the money.
