Ugandans are capable people. I remember when NATO was bombing Qaddafi, Museveni sent Aliker Martin to meet Libyan president and negotiate his exit. Martin was able to talk to CIA and NATO forces to cease the bombing. Qaddafi refuse to exit his country.

Brig Gen. Chandia from westnile was appointed commander . I have seen all tribes in SFC and the guy who stands behind president Museveni is an Acholi related to one of the former LRA combatants. The role of SFC is clear to the country not a tribe, region or religion.

Uganda is not bleeding according to what is in the country side where I am located. This season was good as farmers have bumper harvest. Soya beans and maize are in bulk unlike the first season. We just need good market. Those in USA are out of touch with realities on the ground.

The only book that I read about their history is "The teeth may smile but the heart doesn't forget" by Andrew Rice. Ali is one of the post colonial boys who rose and shaped the history of Uganda the way it is now.

In Lango where Obote comes from , that beans is called Ocuc.
Meaning that is very black.
There was some white small beans in Lango around 1990s, it was called "Yoweri". I think our people associated their coming with the president in power then.
