@jbrannan23 Just out of nosiness is this part of your seconded role or maintaining clinical skills?

@jbrannan23 @joshyjoshthorn1 I believe it’s the Stryker self loading system which doesn’t need a tail lift or ramp

@alisonleary1 Doing it for only 4 years and being considered ‘unlucky’ it certainly took its toll. Now I’m away from it I’m seeing just what it was doing to me

@darren6015 Yep and it was made pretty clear to SAS by HCPC in 2017/2018 that criteria would change, giving a lot of time for discussions which didn’t seem to take place before DipHE stopped circa 2022

@JennyKeaneNHS This OT referred to is an overtime shift by an EMT, not a shift completed by an occupational therapist. Concerning given your role that you think OT’s work on frontline ambulances…

@PCSB999 @CopTayside Can vouch for the boots being super comfy for long shifts, they do look quite clown like after wearing a couple of times… Bulling them also ruins the waterproof/breathable stuff inside so not best for parading🙃🙃

@owenmorgs @ParabagUK Well looked after! What do you carry in it? I’m assuming it’s your personal bag?

@DaveLBywater @NHSTayside @PaediatricMTC @BASICSScotland @Sandpiper_Trust @nhsggcpaedsMTC @CSMEN1 @NHS_Education @NHSWI @Scotambservice It’s a shame that this level of continual education isn’t provided internally for SAS staff, any plans in the future?

@Carla_xiv @yellowemma193 Do 3RU’s have more equipment than a Lucas? I’ve only known 3RU to have standard kit+lucas

@jbrannan23 @yellowemma193 I disagree, other trusts manage to have separate bags for BLS and ALS equipment and I’m sure they don’t get very detailed info for every job. It’s possible but it’s a mindset shift and that just doesn’t seem to happen in SAS
