@Basil_TGMD There's a huge amount of ignorance of history. True, other European nations were involved in the slave trade, but through aggressive expansion of the empire, we industrialised the system of slavery. And you Brits who crow about us ending it, you are quite wrong

@RobertJenrick But Robert, it was your government that started the talks on this issue. And had 11 meetings with interested parties. I take it you had forgotten this

@London_W4 Alister, you don't really have insight have you. Your approach would fail in North and Mid Wales as Welsh is there first language

@Celia_Manson @ddhitchens @rcpsych @theRCN Hi. Certainly. Stop sitting on the fence! Nursing is about protecting the vulnerable person. Who can be more vulnerable than the dying. Mike

@RupertLowe10 Abd there's your problem! Straight, white and British man? What about women? EDI is lot more than race or colour. So, if you don't understand the wider agenda with regards to EDI, does that make you racist in the way you talk about racial discrimination?

@Celia_Manson @ddhitchens @rcpsych @theRCN Hi Celia, hope you are well. As the author of the Congress agenda item asking Council to agree the principles of assisted dying, I will be changeling the neutral stance that the RCN has taken at the Professional Nuring Committee/Trade Union Committee on Wednesday 4th.

@beverleyturner @ThatAlexWoman Ivermectin? Sounds like you picked up more then a respiratory virus then. Ivermectin is used for parasitic infections like scabies and ringworm and a lot of other nasties. Viruses are short lived, so your cocktail of vitamins wouldn't have had that much relief for you

@4Eddy @JamesMelville Are you mad Edward? Pay then minimum wage or make them shareholders? Remember this mate, we abolished slavery in this country in 1807, and in 'our ' empire in 1833. You might not have realised that yet......
