i’m paying £18 per month on a sim only plan, i used to pay £57 per month on a contract. I guess with buying the phone outright (depending on which phone you want to buy) i was able to afford it outright, but for those that can’t you could pay for it on a credit card that is 1/2..

agreed, talking about pay transparency is always a taboo subject. companies refrain from advertising salaries on job description’s because they don’t want employees in the same role knowing what each other earns, especially if they are paying the new hire significantly more

yeah it is long! I think companies are taking advantage of the current climate (people being made redundant/laid off etc.) so people don’t really have a choice but to endure such a lengthy interview process. if you have a job, you’d pull out of the process cause it’s unnecessary
