@jserio52 @UberHansen All the advanced metrics favored Allen. He was 1st in EPA and Adjusted EPA per play. He led the NFL’s #1 offense and did it with an underwhelming supporting cast. Ordinarily it would have been an easy MVP pick, speaks to how good Lamar was that it was even close.

@JReidESPN Ok sure. I’d have Allen 2nd, but Burrow & Lamar are awesome so that’s not unreasonable. And I’d take Giannis, Jokic, Curry and LeBron over Luka. So I’ll rephrase… how is an objective top 4 NFL player “much” worse than the NBA counterpart? Make it make sense

@JReidESPN Lol I agree that should be part of the assessment. (Though obviously not all of it, since no one would argue Hurts is better than Allen) But my issue is I don’t hear you disputing that Allen is a top 3 NFL player so I’m having a hard time understanding the disconnect here.
