African corruption should be looked at through the lens of Game Theory, and then perhaps actions of players will make "sense".

My phd proposal is centred around this and how is hampering development. Not just in Nigeria but across west Africa. The first thing the West solved was security of property ownership. Cos that's the foundation of capital. That's what also made the US grow at scale in the 1800s

Had a "doing business around the world" seminar during my MBA. They touched on cultures & nuances across UK L, Frace,italy,USA, JAPAN china, greater Europe, greater China, Latin America & the Middle East. Nothing was done on Africa & dude leading the seminar said the same thing

Unilag Econs Dr Baluba's wife had cancer or some serious disease & he was taking it on us. Wrote his paper. They couldn't find my script so i had a carry over. Took it again the next year same thing. This time i begged this guy for 3 hours while he was shouting at me.
The entire University of Lagos. I can bet my life that 300l first semester insurance exams were wrongly graded and I’m ready to take this to any length. Only for the lecturer to threaten me after pointing it out.
Hell I still remember the questions.

When you know your country you automatically start putting in place measures to protect yourself. Negotiated an insurance deal in January for some guys where ultimately no Nigerian entity would be involved.
A lot of deals for Nigeria will not smell Nigeria going forward.

Removed my gallbladder in ATL in 2017 after they almost killed me at LUTH. I was told my bill was $25k. No problem paid that and did the operation. Then nurse bill came, anaesthetic bill, theatre bill, room bill etc. I almost ran mad. Everything i paid was north of $45k

Grass always seems on the other side. Don't regret studying Economics, but now a larger part of analysis has to do with SQL, R, MATLAB, and Python, which I'm now having to learn.
Like Jude mentioned, there should be majors and minors that correspond to real-world use case
I don’t regret studying Computer science, but I really should have studied Economics.

My guess is to tighten liquidity to fight inflation with CRR, ensure new capital is raised, which is why you can't convert or recognise SHF as new capital. So the new capital serves as a way of mopping up liquidity and also getting new FPI like you mentioned
