Urgent Call to Action: Rallying Women and Children Organizations to Stand Against Kidnappings in Nigeria , #BringBackOurChildren and #BringBackKaduna287 In the wake of yet another horrifying mass kidnapping, this time in Kaduna State, Nigeria, where over 200 children have been abducted from their school, it is imperative for women and children organizations across the globe to unite and demand immediate action from the Nigerian government. Below are some of the most powerful organizations and women in the world, I am begging you to lend your voice to the conversation. @unicef @save_children @Global4Children @ECPAT @CRINwire @DCIsecretariat @PlanGlobal @save_children @Humanium_en @BureauIBCR @ChildrensRights @ChildRightsCnct @Stand4Children @MissingKids @ChildDefender @NSPCC @KidsRights @UWConline @IFMSEI @CWWLeaders @vonderleyen @Lagarde @KamalaHarris @GiorgiaMeloni @taylorswift13 @KarenSLynch @melindagates @obyezeks @Oprah @MichelleObama @DrBiden @BBOG_Nigeria Reports of such heinous acts are becoming all too common in northern Nigeria, where bandits perpetrate ruthless raids, snatching away the futures of innocent children. These kidnappings not only inflict unimaginable trauma upon the victims and their families but also strike at the heart of education, robbing young minds of the opportunity to learn and grow. The international community cannot remain silent in the face of such atrocities. Women and children organizations, renowned for their advocacy and unwavering support for the vulnerable, must raise their voices louder than ever before. It is time to leverage your influence and demand accountability from the Nigerian government. We call upon the above organizations to take swift and decisive action and also help #BringBackOurChildren and #BringBackKaduna287 Please do the following; Raise Awareness: Utilize your platforms and networks to shed light on the plight of these abducted children and the ongoing crisis of insecurity in Nigeria. Amplify their stories to mobilize public support and pressure governments to take action. Advocate for Change: Lobby policymakers, diplomats, and international bodies to prioritize the safety and security of these Nigerian citizens, particularly since they belong to the vulnerable groups such as children. We Urge you to work collaboratively with the Nigerian government to develop effective strategies to combat banditry and ensure the safe return of the kidnapped children. Provide Support: Extend assistance to affected communities by offering resources, expertise, and solidarity. Work alongside local organizations to provide psychosocial support to the victims and their families, helping them cope with the trauma of abduction and displacement. Demand Accountability: Hold the Nigerian government accountable for its failure to protect its citizens and uphold their fundamental rights. Call for transparent investigations into these kidnappings and swift justice for the perpetrators, sending a clear message that such crimes will not be tolerated. Stand in Solidarity: Join forces with civil society organizations, human rights activists, and concerned individuals to demonstrate solidarity with the kidnapped children and their families. Organize rallies, petitions, and social media campaigns to demand immediate action and raise global awareness of the crisis. The abduction of over 200 children in Kaduna State is not just a Nigerian issue; it is a global humanitarian crisis that demands urgent attention and concerted action. Women and children organizations possess the collective power to effect change and hold governments accountable for their responsibilities to protect the most vulnerable members of society. Let us stand together, raise our voices, and demand justice for the kidnapped children of Nigeria. Their future depends on our actions today. Atunluto Segun Idowu 09/03/2024

@X_Dailly She no try at all. It means she didnāt keep communication with that old mama. I know people who actually did this. Someone left for Europe and for 30years there was no single phone call exchanged with his mother and it took my father in law to locate him and get him to call mama
