I did a 4 year university degree in Health Sciences. There are exceptions to everything, by in 99.9% of cases it's extremely simple. Calories consumed vs expended.
I had been 230 for a decade. Then tracked calories eaten and limited to 1500 a day. Lost 55 pounds in a year.

If people were scientifically literate I wouldn't be an issue. This study absolutely does not say there's a link. It's a single study that finds a slight correlation and notes how other similar studies found no link. And yet again, the odds of all complications go way up unvaxxed
