So for the first time in my whole life, I’m allowing myself to rest, process and assess. I was only in competition with myself, and hell was it very tiring! It may seem awkward for me to say, but I’ll get used to it. Time is a gift so yes, I would like to order a year for myself.

Being a PGI is so weird; you’re not a med student anymore so more is expected from you. Everyone calls you doc yet you still do an NA’s errand. You do most of the paper work but u still need a resident’s trodat. You have the same responsibility as a doctor but not really.
