Hi, I'm Ali, a Beirut-based illustrator, designer and I dabble a bit with animation.

I'm available for all kinds of work (professional or private commissions)
RT's are very much appreciated!
This is so obviously AI btw, and it looks nothing like anime. There are some really talented animators that they could’ve hired, instead they put out something that looks like a Snapchat filter. So gross.
My first attempt at rotoscoping and I’m pretty pleased with the way it came out.
Decided to go for a more simplistic and sketchy style to save time and it still took about three weeks to finish!

Every time I watch this goal, I feel like I have to go and take a shower after it.
Second attempt at rotoscoping, pretty pleased with how it came out! There’s always room for improvement though.

A couple of weeks ago I did a thread showcasing some of my football kits illustrations.
Here's a new one of some boots and footballs that I've illustrated in the past year; Starting off with the first one I did, The Azteca.
The front three 🔴
Liverpool’s recent drop off made me reflect on how good we had it. So this poster is an ode to one of, if not the major key to Liverpool’s success in the last couple of years.

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, aka the San Siro.
I'm so glad that we got to see this beautiful brutalist piece of architecture host two legs of the UCL semis in its final season. What a send off.
Mohamed Salah go brrr 🇪🇬
Another day, another run cycle. This time I decided to mess around with particles and curves to achieve the clay-like smoke effect.
Sculpted, modeled and animated in Blender.
New work 🎨
I was commissioned by the England team during the Euros to create portraits of their tournament debutants and put it all in a single graphic as well as illustrating their key moments in the tournament (Check their Insta to see those)
The history of Premier League balls but it's pixel art.
I did an animation of these a couple of months ago but I never put them together in a still image, so here it is.

Virgil Van Dijk's slowly getting back to his best, so I decided to make this little animation of his key stats this season.
Had a lot of fun with this one!
@JLMTregoning
“Hey look, we told the computer to add a Japanese traditional house, that makes it look like Anime right?”
It’s so idiotic and such a missed opportunity to create something cool.
The Champions League final matchball. Love the design of this one.
I decided to go with a mixture of organic and geometric elements for the background to keep it consistent with the design of the ball itself.
Nike T90 Aerow I x Bauhaus.
Trying something a bit different. A Bauhaus inspired poster for my favorite set of Premier League balls.

If you've followed me for a while, you know that I like to remind people whenever I illustrate Samuel Eto'o that he's the only player to win back to back trebles. Coolest football achievement ever.
Next up, cyan.

Fenomeno run cycle while rocking my favorite Inter kit 🇧🇷
Planning to make more of these, having a lot of fun with them.
Sculpted, modeled and animated in Blender.
New work for
@AVFCOfficial
I was recently commissioned to create two pieces that will be featured in Villa’s match day programs, part of a segment called “Villastrated” where different artists create pieces to commemorate Villa’s 150 year anniversary.
Johan Cruyff run cycle 🔴⚪️
Added a little triangle loop using a curve to mimic the triangulated passing maps of total football.
Sculpted, modeled and animated in Blender.
And it’s done.
For red, I knew from the beginning that it was going to be Stevie.
Had a lot of fun doing this challenge!

For pink, I went with Shinji Kagawa rocking this beautiful Cerezo Osaka kit.
I've been watching the J-League since they made 4 games per week available on Youtube, and I quickly adopted Cerezo Osaka as my team since I love a pink kit and found out that Taki played there.
Adidas Fevernova
The combination of dark green, red and gold gives it a revolutionary look that we’ve never seen before in a ball, which seems befitting since it was the first ever World Cup held outside of the European or American continents.

One of my favorite things to do is drawing football kits, so here some of the illustrations I've done over the last couple of years.
Starting off with my favorite Liverpool kit in recent times; The 2017-18 Home kit.
Mitre Ultimax '95, the second ever Premier League ball.
For the background, I decided to take inspiration from the arrow-like symbols you find on all Mitre balls and I thought it would be cool to have them curve and flow in different directions around the ball.

Took a little break from the

and now back to it.
For purple, I went for Rui Costa instead of the obvious Batigol just to switch it up a bit from what I've seen people do.
Next up, pink. Only two of these left to do.
Frank Rijkaard 🔴⚪️
Trying something a bit different. I haven't read a comic since I was a kid but I recently started reading a horror comic called "Ice Cream Man" and I fell in love with the art style and used it as an inspiration for this piece.
A couple of stadiums that I've illustrated over the years.
-San Siro, Milan 2023
-Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Cameroon during AFCON 2022
-Puskas Arena, Hungary during Euro 2021
For the color yellow, I decided to go with one of my favorite midfielders to watch growing up, Juan Roman Riquelme. El Ultimo Diez.
Green next.

Decided to try out this
#colorwheelchallenge
thing.
The first color is orange and I decided to go for the man who was a robbed of the most nailed on ballon d'or in 2010, Wesley Sneijder.
Next up, yellow.
I'm trying out something new, inspired by the gorgeous Mandalorian end credits.
Obviously it'll look much better with a more interesting background but it's just a start!
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to give pixel art a go. I haven't had this much creating in a while so here's a thread of what I've done so far.
Starting off with my favorite of the bunch, this Darwin animation.
Three years without the legendary supervillain; MF DOOM.
Here's a piece I did last year, to pay homage, the background has some of my favorite bars of his.
PS: Always remember ALL CAPS when you spell the man name.
Made this little animation in Blender. I combined all my recent pixel art animations and had them projected through a CRT TV for maximum nostalgic effects.
Pretty pleased with the result!
Alright so here's an idle animation of the big man.
The shader needs tweaking a bit, it needs to be a bit more jittery but I like the way it looks so far!

Traditional yearly Trent portrait; 2024.
I’ve done this for the past 5 years, one because I love Trent and two it’s a pretty cool way to see my progress and style variations over the years.
Sign the contract big man and let’s keep this, albeit one sided, tradition going.
Baggio 🇮🇹
I’m playing around with a different style, something a bit more cartoony. A combination of soft shading with rough and grainy textures and I like the way they work together.
Not too sure about getting the likeness that well, but there’s always room for improvement!

A couple of months ago I decided to pick up Blender and try to learn 3D art. Here's what I've done so far.
A CRT TV displaying some recent pixel art animations.
Falcao 🇨🇴
Some further style exploration, building on the Baggio illustration I did last week.
Pretty pleased with how it came out.

The Reds take on AC Milan in the San Siro tonight for our first Champions League game of the season.
Here's an illustration of the iconic stadium that I did when we had a Derby della Madonnina in the semis recently.
Need to stop messing around and do more stadiums.
Some of the greats who are no longer with us.
Again, I'm really enjoying playing around with this style and I'll probably add some body anatomy to it once I figure out how I want to exactly do it.
-Sócrates
-Diego Maradona
-Johan Cruyff
Note to self: make more rotoscopes.
Thank you so much for all the love that you've shown this, genuinely mind blowing stuff. Appreciate you all.
If you've got any iconic goals or moments that you'd like to see remade in this style, feel free to reply with a suggestion!

From time to time, I like to create mosaics of iconic football figures or moment. Here are a couple of them that I've done over the last couple of years.
Starting off with Pierluigi Collina.
