Baby girl (aka Little One) has arrived! What started with a routine appointment led us to rush to the hospital for me to be induced and eventually deliver, but she’s here and is perfect. My friends and family were asked to send prayers for her, I’d love that from you too.

I learned this the hard way when I started getting nosebleeds during my pregnancy:
Hi, ER Doc here. Every time I see somebody with a nosebleed doing this wrong I feel the need to get this message out: If your nose is bleeding, DO NOT TILT YOUR HEAD BACK. This just makes the blood drip down the back of your throat and you will then swallow and/or choke on it. Pinch the soft part of your nose and TILT YOUR HEAD FORWARD. Please tell all your friends about this.

@AniseNot Also the baby yanks on it, and we don’t have time to take care of it. It’s all the things. I had fairy tale length hair and I cried when I got my mom chop but then loved it.

@sage_stage In California it’s in the ed code to keep kids in the classroom with lice. I’ve gotten the super lice from a student. 😔

@NicholasFerroni @LennyBeckerman It’s actually part of California ed code (technically there’s supposed to be a daily act of patriotism, one of which would be the pledge). Many aren’t aware or are not made aware by administration. I said the pledge daily at my old school in California.
