Wow….. what an a achievement!! Last week two of our Y7 girls, Alice Quantril and Eliza Janus were selected from our very own school football club to represent Hull City U13 girls team. They travelled to Newcastle Utds ground to play in a national tournament! Well done girls!
We are delighted with the progress made by all of our students and the school’s progress 8 score is positive at an estimated +0.2. Newland Girls achieved an impressive 89 A* equivalent grades with 19 new grade 9’s achieved.

Over 40% have achieved a secure pass in Languages, showing our clear strength for languages, ensuring we yet again have secured a significantly positive progress for Ebacc and Options subjects and overall for the third year in succession. WELL DONE EVERYONE!

Today our Year 10 pupil Millie Johnson is competing in Northern Ireland, representing NSG and her club in the National schools Trampolining Finals.

It's Friday, the sun is shining and there are loads of outstandingly, fabulous girls at my office - it can only be Headteacher Commendation time! A super well done to everyone for being so wonderful this week.
Well done to the U15 football team tonight, who despite not able to train yet, had their first match of the season.
They scored two goals but unfortunately lost 5-2 against Sirius North.
This is the first time in history that NSG have entered the Hull Schools U15 Girls league.
Newland in attendance at Hull’s Youth Parliament today at The Guildhall. All the girls contributed to the debate and discussion around knife crime in Hull, Curriculum for life, voting at 16 and homelessness
