SEVENOAKS: Ten armed officers and a police helicopter were called out after walkers saw a ‘tiger’ resting in woodland near Underriver village around 10:20am yesterday morning. The ‘big cat’ turned out to be a 20-year-old model made of chicken wire and resin. Pix Martha Simpson.
M25 DARTFORD: A video posted on social media shows 8 males climbing out of the back of a lorry on the M25 near Dartford after apparently ‘illegally’ entering the UK. The men are seen clambering up an embankment away from the motorway around 1:30pm yesterday.
A TONBRIDGE man, 22-year-old Freddie Andrew, was reportedly left “barely able to walk” on Thursday morning after he drunk 10 pints and then attempted to slide down the escalator at London Bridge station on Wednesday night.
HYTHE: A 16-year-old boy jumped into the Canal on Saturday night to save a 7-week-old baby after he saw a pram roll into the water. The pram unexpectedly rolled away from the mother who was also with a puppy at the time. The baby is thought to have been checked over in hospital.
WOOLWICH: A man seconds from drowning under Woolwich Pier was saved by the Tower Lifeboat crew around 6am yesterday morning. A crew member dived into the water before he had time to put on a safety helmet after the man was seen sinking below the surface.

A20 SWANLEY: Shocking footage has appeared online showing a driver losing control of a black Mercedes on the A20 Swanley By-Pass and crashing into a petrol pump and car at the BP service station. A man and woman are seen emerging from the crashed vehicle apparently uninjured.
LEWISHAM: Police arrested one man and recovered various weapons including a machete and air pistol after two drivers on Drakefell Road, Brockley, attacked each other’s cars, 3pm yesterday. Both drivers then got in their cars and started crashing into each other in Sprules Road.
BLACKHEATH: Police chased and arrested four males after a patrol car was flagged down whilst on patrol along Blackheath Common earlier tonight. A police dog (PD Stitch) searched along the route the suspects took and found these knives. Pix: MetTaskForce.

HERNE BAY: The infamous Herne Bay sign fighter, Sugar Ray Wallybrain, was filmed tackling another opponent in Mortimer Street last night. After failing to outbox his rival, he resorted to an illegal blow before leaving the ring.
GREENWICH: Police stopped a mini on Vanbrugh Hill after a chase which began in Peartree Way 5pm yesterday. A man in his 30s has been arrested for suspected drug offences, failing to stop for police, vehicle theft and possession of an offensive weapon.
M25 update: Police say that a baby boy was born at the scene of a coach crash on the M25 this afternoon. Emergency services are thought to have delivered the child in a vehicle stuck in queuing traffic.

KIDBROOKE update: Police investigating the murder of Sabina Nessa (28) whose body was found near the OneSpace community centre at 5:30pm Saturday want to identify this man pictured in Pegler Square on Friday evening. They believe he has access to a silver car. ☎ 0208 721 4266.
M25 DARTFORD update: A video showing 8 males climbing out of the back of a lorry on the M25 yesterday afternoon was apparently filmed on the Essex side of the Dartford Crossing under the B1421 Ockendon Road overbridge.
GREENHITHE: The first person to be charged by Police for refusing to wear a face mask was a man arrested at Bluewater Shopping Centre on Saturday around 1:20pm. Sam Francis (30) of Slades Drive, CHISLEHURST, was also charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
SITTINGBOURNE update: Craig Creasey (39) has appeared in the Magistrates’ court after being charged with the robbery of a woman in her 80s at St John’s Ave yesterday. He did not enter a plea and has been remanded to custody. He will appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 13 May.
FOLKESTONE: A man who allegedly went into a pub and mooned at people suffered instant Karma when he stumbled and accidentally headbutted a door. It is said to have happened at the Golden Arrow in Enbrook Valley, Cheriton, on Wednesday night. Video: stewartdavey481 (TikTok).
ORPINGTON update: All five dogs in a van that was stolen from a drive on Chalk Pit Avenue around 7:50pm last night have now been found. They are thought to have been located inside the van which had been abandoned.
CRAYFORD: A ULEZ camera van was spray painted and had both rear tyres punctured in Maiden Lane yesterday. Another in Cray Road, Foots Cray, had its windscreen damaged. Sadiq Khan has deployed 20 of the vans with ANPR cameras to make drivers stick to his rules or pay £12.50 a day.
DUNGENESS: Amazing footage of a waterspout/tornado that appeared off Dungeness coast this afternoon. There is an unconfirmed report that this caused some damage in the Coast Drive area of Littlestone (anyone able to confirm this please?). Video by Mike Dobriskey.
BLUEWATER: A bang caused by a menu display board falling down at the Wintergarden in Bluewater followed by someone shouting “Run!” caused people to flee from the shopping centre around 2pm this afternoon.
DARTFORD: A number of post boxes in Dartford have been painted in Mr Blobby colours, while another has been painted to resemble a Cadbury Creme Egg. Last week, Kent Police said they had arrested a man for suspected ‘criminal damage’ after 26 post boxes were covered in gold paint.
SITTINGBOURNE update: 39-year-old Craig Creasey, from Sittingbourne, who snatched a handbag from an elderly woman after she crossed a road to go to a shop, has been jailed for 16 months. The robbery took place in St John’s Road at 9am on 14 April 2020. 1/2
BIGGIN HILL: Spotted after appearing unexpectedly at the junction of Melody Road and Whitby Close on Tuesday. Local residents were informed after it appeared that it’s a toilet for bus drivers installed by TfL and no planning permission was needed. It’s being called the “Turdis”.
TONBRIDGE: A Krispy Kreme vehicle got stuck under a railway bridge, in Strawberry Vale, Tonbridge, shortly before 8am this morning. There were 500 doughnuts in the back of the van, and one more driving it.
ORPINGTON update: Police have raided the travellers site at Star Lane, St Mary Cray, and a number of suspects that police believe were involved in supplying firearms to criminal gangs have been arrested. Police threw stun grenades into a number of static caravans during the raid.
SITTINGBOURNE update: Police say they’ve arrested a man after a handbag was snatched from a woman in her 80s this morning in St John’s Avenue. The victim had been going for a walk and was shaken up by the incident. A local man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
FOLKESTONE: A suspected thief who broke into a vehicle in Shorncliffe Road stole nothing, but spent some time drawing hair, a moustache and beard on a passport photo left in the car.
DARTFORD: footage has emerged of people climbing out of the side of a lorry on the A2 at Bean, reportedly on Friday afternoon. Police attended and spoke to the driver but could find no trace of those seen clambering down from the HGV. Vid Jakoo Nottingham.
MAIDSTONE update: 89-year-old Dennis Whyard, missing from the Forest Hill area since Friday 1, June has been found safe and well. He was found by members of Kent Search and Rescue and received some medical attention before being handed into the care of the ambulance service.
GRAVESEND update: Shocking footage of a man armed with an assault rifle, near Watling Tyres in Pelham Road, walking and then running towards three other men at the end of Darnley Road who are clearly terrified and run away down Cobham Street. Police are looking for the ‘gunman’.
BROADSTAIRS update: Two girls (13 & 14) from MARGATE have been arrested for suspected assault in Arlington Gardens 3.30pm yesterday after a 12-year-old girl was filmed being punched and kicked. The victim was on her way home from Charles Dickens School in Broadstairs at the time.
BROMLEY: Police want to identify a man after a teenager was dragged into bushes, violently beaten and raped in Turpington Lane, early hours of Friday 20 March. The victim and the unknown man both got off a N199 bus at the Southborough Library stop. ☎ 101, Ref: CAD 181/20MAR.
LEWISHAM: Very lucky cyclist a split second away from being killed by a tree felled by a workman used a chainsaw on Adelaide Avenue by St Margaret’s Road, Brockley, last weekend.
LEWISHAM update: Another clip of two men attacking each other’s cars in Drakefell Road and Sprules Road, Brockley, around 3pm yesterday. One man was arrested. A machete, air pistol, baseball bat and other alleged weapons were recovered by police.
BEXLEYHEATH update: Remember the video issued last month showing an 85-year-old woman who was recovering from a stroke having her purse stolen from a bag on her walking frame in the Co-op? She has been presented with a cheque after a fund-raising page was set up by a taxi driver.
FOLKESTONE: A video following England’s win shows two men on a car bonnet being driven through red lights at a crossing in Harbour St, narrowly missing a young girl and two women. A man falls off the car which then runs over his legs but he appears unhurt.
SWANLEY update: A young woman who lost her life at Swanley station, when she was hit by a train around 6am yesterday, has been named locally as Jasmine Morris, who is thought to have been 17 years old.
SWANLEY: Footage has emerged online of a Fiat driver losing control on the slip road onto the A20 Londonbound from the M25 J3 roundabout. The crash is believed to have happened a few days ago. Vid Ammer Haque.
NOT KENT: Police are investigating after a man in his 40s, apparently carrying a screwdriver, was tasered on Chelsea Bridge in London this morning, and in an attempt to get away from officers, jumped into the River Thames. He is critically ill in hospital.
BROMLEY: Police say an off-duty officer intervened and tackled a 14-year-old male on a bicycle earlier today after a robbery where a phone was stolen and threats of knives were made. The boy was detained at a bus stop on Masons Hill until other officers arrived at scene.
PENGE: Three young women who were allegedly attacking a fourth person on a platform at Penge East station then all lashed out at what appeared to be a complete stranger, hitting her in the head. The incident is thought to have happened around 9pm last night.

GRAVESEND: Reports of a car having been driven into the outer area of Blake’s nightclub by someone after allegedly not being allowed in. Also reports of a fight.
ASHFORD: Firefighters rescued a 12-week-old boxer puppy called Holly who became stuck between a shed and a house yesterday. The pup was freed using hydraulic rescue equipment, which pushed the shed away from wall. Pix KFRS.
An officer fatally shot in the custody area of Croydon Police Station, 2:15am this morning, by a suspect who’d been arrested, was 54-year-old Sgt Matiu Ratana. The suspect, handcuffed behind his back, managed to remove a concealed revolver and shot the officer and then himself.
LEWISHAM: A 17-year-old girl from Lewisham, Katrina Makunova, has been named as the victim of fatal stabbing in Camberwell on 12 July. She died after being stabbed in the chest. Oluwaseyi Dada (21) of Brisbane Street, SE5, has been charged with manslaughter.
A transporter carrying ‘luxury’ cars overturned on the A20 outside Brands Hatch shortly before 8pm last night. The vehicles are thought to be used to provide driving experiences at the racing circuit. The transporter driver escaped with only a minor injury. Video: Ben Slipper.
ROCHESTER: A homeless man sleeping in a bin to try to keep warm was seriously injured this morning after refuse collectors, unaware anyone was inside, emptied the bin into a refuse truck and the man’s legs were crushed. Emergency services and an air ambulance were alerted at 8am.
WOOLWICH: A large cannabis factory has been discovered in a disused commercial building in Parry Place (“Eltham Welding Supplies”) this afternoon. Unconfirmed report of two arrests. Police say they will remain on scene until the cannabis and growing equipment has been removed.
RAMSGATE update: Good news! Jasmine the chihuahua, missing since running off in Margate yesterday, seen with two men in Marine Drive, ‘dumped’ in King George VI Memorial Park, and then chased toward the cliff edge by another dog, has been found and reunited with her happy owner.
THANET: Hundreds of bottles of Spanish ‘wine’ have been found dumped in about 20 bin bags this morning according to posts on Facebook. There is speculation that the bottles of Castillo De Salobrena may have been thrown away by thieves after discovering that it was non alcoholic.
HOO: Residents of Medway were woken by massive explosions after an industrial building caught fire on Vicarage Lane in Hoo near Rochester around 4:00am this morning. People living nearby were evacuated by Police. KFRS say that no casualties have been reported. Vid Phil Goodwin.
Not Kent. A white male (59), apparently wearing a mask, was tasered at Tulse Hill station this evening after police were called to a “ranting” man with a machete. He was arrested for suspected attempted murder and having an offensive weapon. No injuries.
CHISLEHURST update: An 18-year-old murder victim, attacked around 9pm on Tuesday night, has been named as Oluwadamilola Odeyingbo. He was found critically injured in Empress Drive. Another 18-year-old male arrested for suspected murder has been bailed to a date in February.
