With interactive audio overviews, we left out playback UI such as playback scrubber, show duration & speed control b/c the duration of the show can vary based on your interactions. Do you still want to see these or do they take away from the feeling of being on a “live” call?

When you "join" an Audio Overview, the hosts will say something to prompt you to speak: "Oh hey, I think our listener's got something to say!" "Hey there, wanna share your thoughts on this?" What's your favorite thing you've heard the hosts say? (have you found our easter 🥚 ?)

After we launched interactive Audio Overviews, which let you "call in" and ask the AI hosts a live question, we had to do some “friendliness tuning” because the hosts seemed annoyed at being interrupted. File this away in “things I never thought would be my job, but are.”

BEHIND THE SCENES: For our new UI, we chose a 3-panel mode with the inputs(sources) on the left and the outputs(tools) on the right. The middle is the chat where you can explore/ask questions/access other creative formats. We felt this setup was more intuitive. Do you agree?
