This!!!! I want to be able to afford the type of life I have living with my parents and forgetting that my dad who had me at 40 had already set a foundation.
I’m not going to pretend to ignore the fact that our values are also messed up. We all want to live the same quality of life our parents gave us and are not willing to take a step down to earn our way there. We also have this weird idea that love requires your spouse to buy you certain things. And this notion of collective building has completely escaped us.
