Honestly, choosing either option is not ideal for Uniswap due to the huge vendor lock-in risks and single-point-of-failure. There is a clear better alternative where multiple bridges works for Uniswap together for strictly better security

85% of "partnership announcements" in 2017-18 were really just imagination between pre-launch projects, but now most of the partnerships are real technology integration/ product composition. But why the sentiment in this cycle feels much more desperate than the last? Here is why:
2019 had no DeFi, no NFTs, no games, barely any usable scalability tech (optimistic rollups?), let alone clear innovations on the horizon (zk?).
The most promising use cases, paraphrasing Vitalik’s own words, were “things we haven’t even thought of!”. Talk about blind faith.
