@Scottgunz1 As a veterinarian, I have autopsied many many of these animals. Often, things aren’t anatomically correct at birth. Deep down, we know it, but we try. We give it our all, because we care and it’s our duty as caretakers of Gods creatures. Farmers and ranchers truly inspire ❤️

@McKinleyTodd97 Yes. Usually by then the ears are drier and warmer so they don’t freeze so easy

@rae_amy52082 Not always. Cows are easy to manipulate when they give birth. They are not seasonal as to when they cycle!

@JanuarysJargon She gets to them eventually. The longer I can keep them warm and dry the better. Been doing it for years.

@StoikaDan They are a hood that keeps their ears against their body so they are warm and less susceptible to freezing. The calves are wet when born so the ears freeze quickly. The tips of the ears fall off if they freeze.
